Deers in Phoenix Park in Dublin
The Phoenix Park is a large urban park in Dublin, Ireland, lying 2–4 kilometres west of the city centre, north of the River Liffey. Its 11 kilometres perimeter wall encloses 707 hectares of recreational space. There are about 600 fallow deer living in the park. The deer were introduced to the park in the 17th century for hunting, but today they live out a peaceful life in the park.
